Dimitra Lee is a Registered Psychotherapist providing counselling and therapy in Toronto under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Dimitra has a Masters Degree in Counselling from the Adler School and she is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Dimitra is also a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Dimitra has over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings. She operates from a client-centred approach, tailoring the therapy to the individual needs of each client and focusing on their strengths. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches, such as Adlerian, cognitive-behavioural, and solution-focused therapy, in order to help her clients discover underlying issues within themselves and develop strategies for dealing with those issues in order to move forward with their lives. She creates a safe environment for her clients where she helps them to discover their strengths, gain insight and achieve their goals. This leads to clients feeling more in control of their lives and more confident to manage their problems both now and in the future.
