Megan GancaszRegistered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), BA, MACP (In Progress)

Megan (She/Her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, offering online counselling services supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker. She is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University and holds a degree in Psychology with a minor of Anthrozoology at the University of Windsor. Megan uses a person-centered and culturally sensitive approach which places the individual at the heart of the process and ensures therapy is respectful and inclusive to each person’s background, values, and identity. Her practice is integrative and incorporates strategies from cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment-based therapy, mindfulness, strength-based and solution-focused therapy. She strives to create a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment where individuals can feel safe to explore their own thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. Whether it’s managing stress, anxiety, depression, relational concerns, difficult life transitions, or overcoming challenges, Megan offers a collaborative, respectful and goal-oriented approach to help individuals tap into their own strengths, resources, and foster self-awareness and empowerment.

Kia Samson-SammetRegistered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), BA, MA

Kia completed her Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Kia also completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. She has also completed ASIST Applied Suicide Interventions Skills training. Kia comes from a unique cultural background being Estonian, German, Métis and Acadian. She was raised by two psychotherapists and feels she comes by this profession naturally. Kia is passionate about working with adults and adolescents who are experiencing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, family conflict, life changes, and school-related or work-related stress. Kia provides compassionate therapeutic support tailored to each unique individual and their needs. Kia offers online counselling services. She has an integrative approach to therapy primarily informed by principles of client-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, strengths-based, attachment, emotion-focused therapy, Gestalt therapy, and narrative therapy. For her, the therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance. Kia aims to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can open up and feel validated, heard, and accepted. I approach therapy with sincerity, creativity, warmth, and an open, receptive mind. Whether you want to address a specific issue, build confidence, or simply have someone to listen, I am here to support you on your journey. My practice is client-centered and multicultural, taking a holistic view of each individual’s life and experiences. Together, we’ll tailor a plan that aligns with your needs, values, and goals. I have experience working with a wide range of client concerns, including grief, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, phobias, confidence building, and learning new perspectives and coping skills.

Danika CharleboisRegistered Psychotherapist, MA, RP

Danika holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Indigenous Studies, and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is a registrant of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Danika provides psychotherapy and counselling to individuals in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, stress, grief/loss, substance abuse/addiction and personal growth. She holds a certificate in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and offers other psychotherapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Indigenous approaches to healing to meet her client’s needs. Danika believes that psychotherapy is founded on building a safe and collaborative space from a culturally inclusive and trauma-informed approach.

Nikita SolankeRegistered Psychotherapist, MSc, RP

Nikita, a Registered Psychotherapist with over 9 years of experience, specializes in virtual one-on-one therapy. She addresses challenges such as anxiety, stress (personal, work, and academic), relationship issues, low moods, life transitions, confidence, self-esteem, and parenting. Nikita takes a holistic approach, drawing from various techniques and methods, and uses a person-centred approach that prioritizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to openly share their experiences. She meets clients where they are in their journey, collaborating with them to achieve their mental health goals. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the power of non-judgmental listening, deep understanding, and empathy for each individual and their unique experiences. Nikita firmly believes that all her clients possess inherent strengths and enjoys working collaboratively to explore these strengths, helping them overcome challenges. Wendy ShiskoRegistered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MACP

As a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), I offer a wealth of life experience, adding to my clinical knowledge. During my time in the Canadian Armed Forces, I experienced stories of addiction, relationship breakdown, and PTSD, which led me to change careers and help people through a counselling lens. During sessions, I strive to provide a caring, safe space, and work collaboratively with each client, to create opportunities for healing and growth on a deeper level. I like to take a holistic approach to therapy, drawing from your unique life experiences, in order to reach your goals. Therapy will be cognitively, emotionally and somatically explorative, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, IFS, Inner Child work and Somatic therapy. Wendy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Science Psychology from Trent University, and. obtained her Master’ of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Wendy is also a Yoga and meditation teacher. She also has volunteer experience as a victim service worker and a volunteer parole officer assistant. She is passionate about ongoing professional development, and is currently completing certification in somatic therapy.
