Dr. Tahira Jibeen
PhD, Registered Psychologist
Dr. Tahira Jibeen is a clinical psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologist of Ontario (#7189) since 2021. She has combined experience of academic and clinical over 12 years and she has been dealing with adult clients experiencing psychological issues.
She completed Ph.D. at Punjab University in Pakistan in 2010. Previously, she worked as a counsellor and associate professor in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, she has published several research articles in renowned international academic journals.
Dr. Jibeen primarily works with adult clients and supports them to focus on their personal strengths and abilities in meeting their goals and improving their well being. She speaks Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and English fluently. She uses scientific approaches to therapy and relies on the latest cutting-edge research in planning her interventions. She primarily focuses on cognitive-behavioural approach, but she blends elements from a variety of therapeutic models. She uses compassionate, collaborative, and active approach to support clients in their recovery from mental health issues. Dr. Jibeen explores personal strengths and integrate them to build resilience.
