Hi! I’m Kaleigh, a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for supporting individuals through their unique challenges and journeys. My career has been deeply enriched by working with diverse populations, including first responders and neurodivergent individuals, as well as addressing a range of mental health disorders. My Journey and Therapeutic Approach My journey in mental health began at the University of Toronto, where I completed a Specialist Degree in Mental Health (HBSc). I furthered my education with a post-graduate certification in trauma and crisis interventions at Seneca College, followed by a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA. I approach therapy with empathy and respect, utilizing a trauma-informed, non-judgmental, multicultural, and inclusive framework. My therapeutic style is rooted in curiosity and sensitivity, aiming to understand your perspective and narrative. I draw from a variety of counselling theories, including CBT, IFS, DBT and EMDR to create a blended approach tailored to your needs. My core values in therapy include providing autonomy, empathy, and a safe space for discussing mental health. These principles guide my interactions with clients and shape the supportive environment I strive to create.
