Jaspreet Randhawa
BSc, MA, Registered Psychotherapist
Jaspreet offers Counselling/Psychotherapy services.
As a young adult, Jas found herself always listening and observing to the way others spoke and the emotions they displayed. Not just leaning into the conversation taking place but understanding the deeper meaning between every interaction. To learn more about one’s thoughts, behaviours and emotions, Jas begun her academic journey rooted in clinical experience, community involvement and employment in various fields such as addiction, autism, grief, community mental health initiatives, non-profit disability sectors, and other modalities to fully grasp the nuances of what life has to offer.
Jas practices counselling across the GTA. After receiving her Master’s (M.A.) in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, Jas set on to develop her own path in hopes of creating a space where judgement is not placed on our worst mistakes. Instead, the focus is on healing and celebrating the strengths that come with the process. Jas offers counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals, adolescents, couples, and families.
Her areas of interest and expertise are:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Family conflict
- Relationship issues
- Self-esteem
- Grief and loss
- Trauma
- ADHD/ADD
- Work-related stress
- Life changes/transitions
- Effective parenting
- Autism
- Burnout
Jas believes that regardless of our backgrounds and where we come from, one thing we can prosper from is the power of conversation. She firmly believes that no one approach is a one-size-fits-all solution for everyone’s experiences. The plan will always be to work in a collaborative effort and centre the session around the clients. Jas’s greatest reward as a Registered Psychotherapist is to help clients overcome and appreciate the different nuances of life and measure genuinely what makes us happy. Her philosophy – “together we will focus on what matters and eliminate the rest.
