Gurjeet offers Counselling/Psychotherapy services and Supervised Psychological Counselling under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate. Gurjeet has a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Parental Education. Gurjeet has 21 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in various settings. She operates from a client-centered approach, tailoring the therapy to each client's individual needs and focusing on their strengths. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness to help her clients discover underlying issues within themselves and develop strategies for dealing with those issues to move forward with their lives. Her genuine approach helps her clients build easy rapport and inculcate a sense of warmth and trust. Gurjeet’s supportive and engaging style encourages a strong working relationship with clients. She has a passion for helping to make a difference in people’s lives. She creates a safe environment for her clients where she helps them discover their strengths, gain insight into their current challenges and achieve their goals.
