Angela Larmer is a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Nurse, BScN, MACP, Master Accelerated Resolution Therapist (ART), EMDR practitioner, Certified Somatic EMDR Therapist, Grief Educator and Counsellor. She provides evidence-based mental health services to individuals, especially health care providers, first responders and veterans across Ontario, offering psychotherapy within a trauma-informed, grief-informed, client-centered framework, supporting a range of concerns including post-traumatic stress, trauma related symptoms, grief, loss and life transitions, phobias and work related stress. As a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Nurse, Angela brings a unique, integrative lens to psychotherapy. Her background in nursing for over 24 years, allows her to understand the complex connection between mind and body, and to approach mental health with a holistic, compassionate, and informed perspective. She integrates therapy with a wide range of approaches that focus on stabilization and safety, working through and processing acute and complex trauma symptoms, emotions and memories so that you can live a life that feels more connected and joyful.
