Michael Diotte is a registered psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists) and practices counselling in the GTA/Durham Region. Michael is a clinical counsellor and certified trauma counsellor. He recently completed studies and now is a certified life coach with Canada Coach Academy. His counselling experience spans over 25 years with special attention given to emotional, financial, marital, relational, family and other personal issues. He offers client-centered therapy incorporating a variety of therapeutic approaches, which he has come to term ‘Fusion-Therapy’. This focus highlights the client’s strengths and abilities while guiding them towards their desired outcome. His calm, engaging and personable approach creates a welcoming, understanding and positive counselling environment. Michael also provides coaching and mentoring for work, career and school related issues such as: Career Transition & Development; Work-Life Balance; Workplace Bullying, and Leadership-Coaching. Michael’s professional background includes Business and Financial Management and Leadership Training. Michael’s motto is “Refreshing through Reconciliation”. When one is reconciled to their dreams or goals, a refreshing comes to their being. This renewed purpose in life brings significant benefits to the client and to their relationships. Michael is a registered Metis citizen and a trained trauma therapist who now also works with First Responders and the Indigenous community as well as WSIB, MVA and EFAP clients. He is under the supervision of a registered member of the College of Registered Psychologists of Ontario; is also a certified member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP) and a member in good standing with ICISF. Michael’s purpose and passion is: To bring reconciliation with joyful refreshing into people’s lives, so they may dream again, discover their potential, and enthusiastically pursue limitless possibilities!
