Carobeth is a Clinical Psychologist and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who has worked with children, youth, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, behaviour disorders, and learning disabilities since 2001. She has a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Carobeth has worked in both government funded and private practice settings, and her past consultation experience includes a wide variety of settings, including home and centre based ABA programs, schools, group homes, residential treatment programs, long term care facilities, adult day programs, inpatient mental health settings, and children’s aid societies. She also has experience working with indigenous children and youth in rural and remote communities throughout Ontario.

Carobeth is an active member of the behaviour analysis community, and has served in the following positions:

• Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA) Board of Directors member 2004-2010; 2011-2013 term
• Chair of ONTABA’s Professional Regulation Committee (2011-2013) and Autism Spectrum Disorder Task Force/Committee (2017-2019)
• ONTABA representative for the MCYS Ontario Autism Program Advisory Committee (2016-2018)
• Kerry’s Place Autism Services Board of Directors Member 2018 to 2022 term
• Autism Ontario Board of Directors member 2014-2017 term
• Member of Behaviour Science and Technology Program Advisory Committee at George Brown College
• Member of Applied Disabilities Studies Program Advisory Committee at Brock University.

She received the 2018 Gerry Bloomfield Award from Autism Ontario and the 2017 President’s Award for Service Excellence from ONTABA for her work on the MCYS OAP Advisory Committee.

Currently, Carobeth is the Director of Launch Behavioural Health and Director of Quality Assurance at Dalton Associates.

Dr. Kerry Wells, C. Psych. is a registered psychologist who completed his Ph. D. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University. Kerry has worked with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), intellectual/developmental disabilities, and a variety of other neurodevelopmental disorders since 2001. He has providing services in a variety of settings including schools, government programs and agencies, and residential treatment programs. Currently, Kerry is a consulting psychologist with Dalton and Associates and provides clinical supervision for IBI/ABA programs in the Toronto, Central East, and Central West. Kerry provides psychological and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents. He also provides counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for children and adolescents.

Kathi is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Since obtaining her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, she has worked mainly in private practice and has nearly 20 years experience providing psychological assessment and treatment to individuals and couples. She currently holds the position of Director of WSIB Services at Dalton Associates. At present, she provides a full range of psychological services (diagnostic assessment and treatment) to those experiencing various disorders including chronic pain, depression, PTSD, OCD and specific phobia.

Kathi is a Registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Since obtaining her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, she has worked mainly in private practice and has over 14 years of experience providing assessment and treatment services particularly in the context of WSIB, MVA and LTD referred clients. At present, she provides a full range of psychological services (diagnostic assessment and treatment) to those experiencing various disorders including chronic pain, depression, PTSD, OCD and specific phobia.

Mehdi Lotfalizadeh (M.Sc., C.Psych.) received his master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Iran Medical Sciences University in 1991.

He worked as a clinical psychologist in Iran until 2000. His practice included providing psychological services in rehabilitation centres with pain patients, Cognitive-Behavioural therapy with emotional disorders, parenting and behavioural management workshops for parents. He also worked as an instructor in various universities in Iran, completed several research projects and presented at many conferences.

In Canada, Mehdi continued providing psychological assessment and intervention services to emotionally challenged clients and leading parenting groups. He is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and has provided psychological services in Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Mississauga, Aurora and Newmarket. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and has continued his professional development throughout his career. Mehdi is experienced and uses diverse techniques and approaches with clients for a specified period of time to achieve realistic goals identified with the client. He speaks English and Farsi (Persian).

Marcia Swaby is a Registered Psychological Associate in Ontario. Marcia has worked over thirty years in rural and urban settings. This variety of clients has increased her sensitivity to different cultural and religious groups.

Marcia’s approach uses the strengths of each client to bring about change. She has been trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy, Schema therapy, and solution focused therapy (a brief therapy approach).

Marcia treats Depression, Stress, Anxiety, including Agoraphobia, and Anger Management. Marcia Swaby does Couple therapy. She has a speciality in Pain Management and has treated problems such as MVA victims, Cancer, Chronic Pain, including Fibromyalgia, and TMJ/Bruxism. Marcia Swaby uses hypnosis as an adjunct to therapy, especially with pain, depression, and abuse issues. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis since 1992. Marcia Swaby does personality assessments of adults. She works in Brampton and Mississauga.

Dr. Natalie Frost, C.Psych is a Clinical and School Psychologist who provides psychological services for preschoolers, children, and adolescents. She obtained her Master’s and PhD from the University of Windsor (Ontario) and is a Registered Psychologist through the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.

Natalie has worked with preschool and school-aged students in several Ontario counties in a variety of school, hospital, and private practice settings. Natalie provides psychological assessments for mood and behavioural concerns, psychoeducational assessments for learning difficulties, as well as preschooler assessments for developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Natalie also offers psychotherapy services for children and youth, including cognitive behaviour therapy.

Carl Dalton is the Chief Executive Officer of Dalton Associates, serving the province of Ontario. Carl holds a Masters of Social Work Degree and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. He brings over two decades of clinical and business leadership experience in education, mental health and addiction fields.

Throughout his career, Carl has learned that the key to providing comprehensive services for a community’s or organization’s complex needs is through collective interventions that emphasize quality services, clear outcomes/goals, communication, and mutual respect.

Mirela is responsible for all aspects of financial operation of Dalton Associates, including the activity of the business department, and managing relationships with banks and government institutions.

Mirela obtained her Certified Management Accountant designation in 2010, and she is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Candice brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration and leadership to her role at Dalton Associates. As Director of Administration, Candice ensures the operational effectiveness of human resources, IT and technological systems, marketing and communications, and administration, which includes specific focus on information and data management, policy development and implementation, and workflow.

As a retired Regulated Health Professional, Candice is passionate about creating systems and pathways that facilitate exceptional, client-centered care.

Michelle holds a Master’s of Social Work degree and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, bringing over a decade of clinical and leadership experience to her role as the Director of Operations for Dalton Associates.

As a social worker and as a leader, Michelle’s focus is trifold – fostering a positive, inspiring work culture that emphasizes capacity sharing and professional growth; the provision of exceptional, safe, and effective mental healthcare for clients; and the development of sustainable, community-centered mental health programming.

Within the scope of her role, Michelle oversees Dalton Associates’ clinical services and program operations – with a specific focus on supporting service/program management, resource development, strategic planning, program innovation and development, and fostering positive partnerships in the delivery of effective, high quality mental health services.

Michelle is also the organization’s Privacy Officer and, as such, supports the organization in adhering to the highest standards of privacy, security, and confidentiality as health information custodians.

Jennifer started her legal career with SV Law where she practiced corporate-commercial legal work, and assisted clients like Dalton Associates with their legal needs.

She left SV in 2021 to work with the City of Kitchener as the Assistant City Solicitor (Corporate) where she provided advice on contractual drafting and negotiations, and general legal risk assessments and advice.

Jennifer volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors for Women in Crisis for 3 years, and she has also been an active member of the University of Guelph’s Research Ethics Board for 4 years. Both of these roles have given her added insight into the importance of mental health and wellness.
