Counselling in Burlington and Hamilton
Therapist Profile: Jane Vollick
Jane Vollick practices counselling and therapy in Hamilton and Burlington under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
The foundation of Jane's professional and personal life path is a keen interest in facilitating self-discovery and growth. Her counselling experience spans a broad range of life related challenges and concerns including childhood issues, relationships, depression, anxiety and stress, anger, assertiveness, addictions, parenting, and personal growth via individual, couples and group counselling.
In addition to being a parent and long-time instructor Jane draws upon her diverse background in counselling arts to create a client centred, non-judgmental setting that is compassionate, humanistic, and safe, while encouraging clients to be pro-active.
"How would you like your life to be?" may be a starting point in the exploration of self, and the transition to more healthful living patterns. Joy and humour are powerful companions in this journeying which Jane embraces in her own commitment to life-long learning.
Jane has an MA in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Consumer Studies, and is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
